Readable details and online details
An engraved name or number remains readable without a phone or an internet connection. KinTag needs a compatible phone and internet, but its saved details can change without replacing the physical tag. ROAD iD’s iD PROFILE also connects a physical ID to an online profile with contacts and medical information.
They can be complementary
A family may want readable identification as well as an editable contact page. Check the exact ROAD iD model and any profile service terms. KinTag is not a substitute for a medical ID when immediately readable information is needed.
What does KinTag cost?
The activation plans are $1/month, $10/year or $25 once for lifetime service, in CAD. Optional pre-programming is $2 per order and shipping is $2.95. Monthly and annual plans recur; lifetime has no recurring plan fee. A helper does not need an account or paid plan to open the contact page.
